The Main Activity

The main activity of the project is a youth exchange with international partners from Turkey and North Macedonia, which will take place in Cluj-Napoca during one week.

The core activity will consist of a game for blind people (goal ball), which will be played together both by youngsters visually unimpaired and youngsters with visual disabilities. The BALL will go to all, no matter if they are visually disabled or not.

Along learning goalball, which includes practicing and competing, the youth exchange also includes workshops, talks, role-plays, study visits, debates and practice of several team sports in outdoor and indoor context, meaning that apart from the main activity of this project, which consists in making the game goal ball to become inclusive, other activities will be included, such as psychological workshops that will contribute to themes such as raising the awareness among visually unimpaired youngsters, overcoming discrimination and labeling, discussing about the rights and conditions of persons with impaired vision in other countries participating in the project, exchanging experiences, future cooperation, etc.

UPDATE: Due to the fact that Republic of North Macedonia is a non-EU country, in order to be able to enter the territory of Romania, under current legislation, participants to the Ball for All project should be fully vaccinated, with a period of at least 14 days.
Unfortunately, our Macerdonian partner could not find participants to satisfy the above criteria, so that the partners unanimously decided to have participants to the youth exchange only from Turkey and Romania.
