Local Dissemination Event in Izmir

Our Turkish partner from Izmir, organized on October 25, 2021 a local dissemination event.

They took advantage of a youth camp organized in the city of Izmir and gathered 53 youngsters with and without disabilities and youth workers in a face-to-face event were the Ball for All project and its results were presented.

Redistribution of participants

Due to the fact that Republic of North Macedonia is a non-EU country, in order to be able to enter the territory of Romania, under current legislation, participants to the Ball for All project should be fully vaccinated, with a period of at least 14 days.
Unfortunately, our Macerdonian partner could not find participants to satisfy the above criteria, so that the partners unanimously decided to redistribute the 11 participants from Northern Macedonia to the Turkish team (5) and to the Romanian team (6).

The Youth Exchange: Starting the selection

The target group for the project’s main activity, the youth exchange, are young people age 15-30, half of them visually impaired and the other half non-disabled. There will be a total of 24 youngsters, 8 from each partner country (North Macedonia, Turkey and Romania). The typical, non-visual impaired participants, will not only take an active part in the project activities, but will also have a role as a facilitators and helpers for visual impaired youngsters.
