Aims of the Project

Ball for All is an Erasmus+ project in the field of youth, designed and implemented by Babilon Travel NGO, having Turkey and North Macedonia as international partners.

The main objective of this project is inclusion. The core activity consists of a game for blind people (goal ball), which will be played together both by youngsters visually unimpaired and youngsters with visual disabilities. The BALL will go to all, no matter if they are visually disabled or not.

Young people with visual disabilities and generally visually impaired persons in our society declare themselves as a marginalized group. This group of people considers themselves discriminated in many spheres of social life. So, the need to overcome this problem arises, and within the framework of this project this will be performed by means of direct involving visual impaired people in all spheres of social life.

Through this project, we will make the sport game called GOAL BALL (that is a game only played by visually impaired people) to be inclusive; actually, visually impaired people will teach their young peers how to play this game and in the end of the project mobility we will organize an inclusive event, a tournament that will establish from year to year as a tradition in our countries. For the future we intend to accept the challenge to expand this inclusive tournament with teams from European countries and beyond.
